WHAT IS WORKING AT HEIGHT?

Working at height involves any work being carried out above ground level, where there is a risk of falling and injury. It can also include work below ground such as in basements in cellars but this isn't as common.

In accordance with the Work At Height Regulations 2005, all employers must have a plan in place for emergencies and rescue as emergency services cannot always be entirely relied upon.
